of Friends Tai Chi
What is tai chi: It is a
system of continuous, slow, meditative, physical exercise which can result in
relaxation, improved balance, and improved health. It is also a lot of fun.
The Circle of Friends tai chi club began in the 1980’s
when Ed Cooper and a few friends started practicing tai chi in Milton,
Ontario. Ed Cooper began a tradition of learning and having fun, which has
continued. Ed moved from Milton in 2007 and passed his classes to his student
Mary Hansell. The club continues to teach Yang Style tai chi-----bare hand,
sword, and sabre forms.
